built as a condo owner, I'm really grateful for this title. While there are plenty of handy advice for tenants, you have to torture yourself as a landlord through books in which one has the impression that lawyers writing for lawyers. This is fortunately different: The author writes for the typical man, he translates legal jargon into understandable language and explains how one should behave as a landlord best. How to proceed if the tenant fails to pay or reduce the rent if he had permission to keep animals or sublet, if he rejects the charge settlement or simply moves out. You have to say, it's pretty "trickig" if you want everything done right. Here, the book offers real help, with sample letters, sample contracts and checklists. In addition, the book is also very well constructed. First, we learn how to find the right tenant, it is about the rental agreement, the charge settlement etc. It concludes with the chapter, you can cancel and how to what is observed when the tenants move out. This involves not only legal aspects but also a little psychology. But I forgive five stars.
